The P&L shows revenue minus expenses to reveal net profit over a period. In Odoo it's interactive — change the period, compare, and drill into any account.

Path: Accounting ← Reporting ← Profit and Loss

1. Open Accounting ← Reporting ← Profit and Loss.
2. Set the Date period (e.g. This Year) or a custom range.
3. Enable Comparison vs the previous period or last year.
4. Click a line such as Income or Cost of Revenue to expand its accounts.
5. Click an account amount to drill down into its Journal Items.
6. Use Options for cash vs accrual basis when needed.
7. Click Export to download as PDF or Excel.
8. Confirm the correct Company is selected.
