Odoo supports Arabic and English together and lets you tailor date and number formats to the Saudi market. The right language improves the experience for your team and customers.
Path: Settings ← Translations ← Languages
- Open Settings and from the Translations menu choose Languages or Add Languages.
- Select Arabic (Saudi Arabia) from the list, click Add and wait for installation.
- To enable it for the user open Preferences from your name menu at the top-left and set Language: Arabic.
- To make Arabic a website language enable it from Website ← Settings ← Languages (if the Website app is installed).
- Set the date and number formats from the language record itself in Languages via the Date Format and Decimal/Thousands Separator fields.
- Confirm the interface direction switches automatically to RTL when Arabic is selected.
- To translate a specific text enable Developer Mode then use the translate icon next to the field to enter Arabic and English text.
- Save the changes and reload the page to apply the new language and format.
