Product variants & barcodes

Product variants let you manage one product in multiple forms (color, size) with a separate barcode per variant.

Path: Sales ← Products ← Products ← [Product] ← Variants tab

1. Enable Variants in Sales ← Configuration ← Settings.
2. Open the product and go to the Attributes & Variants tab.
3. Click Add a line, choose an Attribute (e.g. Color) and add its values.
4. Add a second attribute (e.g. Size); Odoo auto-generates all combinations as variants.
5. Save, then click the Variants smart button to view them.
6. Open a variant to set an Extra Price if it differs.
7. Enter the Barcode and Internal Reference (SKU) per variant.
8. Save and ensure no duplicate barcodes.
