A quotation is the first step of the sales cycle and later becomes a confirmed sales order.
Path: Sales ← Quotations ← New
- Open the Sales app and click New.
- Select the Customer (create one with VAT number if needed).
- Set the Expiration date so the customer knows how long prices are valid.
- Set the Pricelist and Payment Terms if different from default.
- In Order Lines click Add a product, enter quantity and price; VAT 15% appears automatically.
- Review the untaxed amount, tax, and total in SAR.
- Click Send by Email or Preview the customer portal.
- Save; it stays in Quotation state until confirmed.
